Описание
Relational MySQL database (12 tables) modelling how energy prices, inflation and central-bank policy relate to UK households across regions and demographic groups. Created for the course KEN2110 Databases, Maastricht University (2026). Load with: mysql -u root -p < energy inflation dump.sql Data sources: 1. Real public data: UK consumer price inflation (CPI), monthly 2000–2025, Office for National Statistics (ONS); average annual domestic electricity bills 2000–2025 by payment method, Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), Quarterly Energy Prices Table 2.2.3. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. 2. Synthetic (mock) data created by the authors: households, demographic profiles, quarterly bills, commodity shocks, policy dates, mortgage stress index and borrowing costs. These values are illustrative only. Supplier names are real companies, but their licence codes and support-scheme flags are invented and do not describe the real companies. Personal data: none.
