  • Content is encrypted with a key held in the link, which the server never receives
  • An interrupted transfer resumes where it stopped instead of starting over
  • Only one recipient can join a link; a third party is turned away

Questions

Are files uploaded to your server?
No. Only the introduction between two browsers goes through the server; the files themselves travel directly between them. We physically cannot read them.
Can I close the tab during a transfer?
No. The connection lives inside the page and closing the tab drops it. If that happens, the transfer resumes where it stopped rather than starting again.
Is there a file size limit?
We impose none, because files never pass through our server. The practical limit is the tab memory on the receiving side.
