Description
The component files select results set database and datafile results set database demonstrate the linear correlation between the number of entries and the response time of SELECT queries for a serialized set data structure, stored in a binary datafile. A Python3 script, sql-benchmark.py, has also been included, which queries the Oracle view V$SYSSTAT to retrieve system parameters for testing eight SELECT and MERGE commands. The binary datafile represents the internal level of a proposed set-oriented store, which enforces strict set-theoretic semantics. The included dataset is part of the research titled: A Model for a Serialized set-oriented NoSQL Database Management System
