Description

This article examines the impact of the mortgage market on the construction industry in Uzbekistan. The development of mortgage lending plays a significant role in stimulating housing demand, increasing construction activity, and supporting overall economic growth. The study analyzes how mortgage availability, interest rates, government housing programs, and banking sector reforms influence the dynamics of the construction industry. Special attention is given to the relationship between household purchasing power, credit accessibility, and residential construction development. The findings show that a well-developed mortgage market contributes to the expansion of the construction sector, improves housing affordability, and strengthens investment activity in the real estate and construction industries.
