Description
About the FERC EQR Dataset The FERC Electric Quarterly Report (EQR) contains data provided by electricity sellers, summarizing contractual terms and conditions in agreements for all jurisdictional services, including cost-based sales, market-based rate sales, and transmission service, as well as transaction information for short-term and long-term market-based power sales and cost-based power sales. Since the adoption of the most recent reporting format in 2013Q3, several billion transactions have been reported. Data Archiving and Processing Catalyst Cooperative captures a fresh snapshot of the FERC EQR data on a quarterly basis and saves it to Google Cloud Storage. The metadata in this Zenodo archive should be updated whenever a new snapshot has been captured. Due to the size of the data, we do not keep a copy of all historical versions. The EQR data is processed into an analysis-ready Apache Parquet dataset, partitioned by quarter.
