Questions
- Is my file uploaded to a server?
- No. The PDF is read and rebuilt by your browser. There is no upload request in this tool at all, so the content never reaches us or anyone else.
- Can I use non-Latin text?
- Yes. Text you add is drawn by your browser and embedded as an image, so Cyrillic, Serbian latin with diacritics and any other script look exactly as on screen.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Only the memory of your device. Nothing is transferred, so there is no upload limit — very large scans may simply take longer to render.
- Can I edit the existing text of a PDF?
- Yes, in the way a PDF allows. Text inside a finished file is not a paragraph but a sequence of drawing commands, often with a subsetted font that lacks the letters you need, so it cannot be retyped in place. Instead use Cover to hide the old text and Text to put the new one on top: the result is the same.
