Description

This supplementary dataset supports our systematic literature review, "AI assistants and agents in GIS: a systematic review," which is currently under peer review for publication. The core of the data is in "Articles Zenodo.xlsx," which offers detailed, extracted information and quality assessment scores for every study included in the review. For each paper, the extracted data covers: Main aims / Research Questions Theoretical Background Methodology Main Results / Conclusion Specific SLMs/LLMs used Limitations Future Work The quality of each study was evaluated using an adapted framework against seven criteria, including the clarity of the research purpose, methodology, and findings. (Note: Studies lacking a clear research purpose were rejected.) Does the study identify a main research purpose?
