Description
The shared database and open database management system developed for the Integrated Assessment Model WILIAM in the LOCOMOTION project. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 821105. The shared database and open database management system consists of: The Data Dictionary, which includes information on the Symbols developed within the project (variables, historical data, constants, parameters, scenario parameters, etc.) and used in the WILIAM model, and information related to their metadata, as well as acronyms, semantic rules, etc. A specific protocol has been defined for the Data Dictionary in order to validate modifications based on the authorised roles of users. The purpose of the Data Dictionary is to enhance the transparency of the WILIAM model by disclosing all the Symbols and data sources used.
