Description
Vagina Specific databases development For taxonomy we used an in-house created vaginal microbiome-specific database that is based on the robust Genome Taxonomy Database release 207 (GTDBr207) . We further confirmed the GTDB taxonomy assignments using another vaginal microbiome-specific database based on the Silva 138 annotations (supplementary). The DADA2-formatted databases used for assignation were developed from a list of 582 human vaginal bacteria that were published. Diop, K., et al., Exhaustive repertoire of human vaginal microbiota.
